I recently watched an old 2015 film called Spy. The title is very short, only three letters. Neither my wife nor I knew about this film before, even though it got a good rating on the internet. We only found out after we tried to find out about movies that have Jason Statham in it. Thankfully we did the search, because this movie turned out to be very good even though Jason only played a minor comedic role in it.
The main character of this movie is Susan Cooper, a fat woman who worked as an office employee at the CIA headquarters. Susan had very low self-confidence and was always used unilaterally by Bradley Fine, the CIA secret agent who is often paired with her. She was also often underestimated by everyone around her. Susan's fate finally changed because Agent Fine was killed by an enemy, and this enemy seemed to know all the identities of CIA secret agents. A data leak has occurred! Susan then offered to dive into the field, because her identity might not be known by the enemy.
I was invited by a friend to her house. When I arrived at her house, there were already several people present, among whom I knew. My friend immediately welcomed me warmly and invited me to sit on the bar stool. After that, she stepped to the dish table and picked up a plate containing four different types of cakes. She delivered the plate of cakes to me and asked me to eat them immediately.
I examined the cakes in front of me. Then I asked her if she made them herself. She replied that she made them herself. I praised her and said that she was great at producing beautiful cakes. She smiled. Then I put a triangular piece of cake into my mouth and felt how delicious the cake was. I praised her again and said that the taste of this cake was very good.
During the covid-19 pandemic, all my works and activities outside the house were temporarily stopped. Almost every day I am always at home and occasionally come out for other purposes. This did not bother me since I am someone who likes to do activities inside the house. But after a month had passed and nothing changed, I began to feel a little sense of saturation. Memories of trips during the holidays that have passed have begun to emerge, but we must give up on all of them. The plane tickets that we had bought from last year and booked hotel rooms had to be let go too. Thanks God some of the plane tickets can be refunded.
I recently watched an old movie: Speed, which was produced in 1994. The movie, starring Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock, was one of the most popular action movies of the time. Keanu Reeves played the role of Jack Traven, a police officer who had to face consecutive bombing cases; while Sandra Bullock played the role of Annie, an university student who was involved with him because the bus she was riding had been installed with bomb.
This movie deserves to be famous because from the beginning to the end, there is no boring moment. The audience was shown tension moment to tension moment without stopping. Jack Traven performed his duties very well as a young policeman who was tough and willing to risk his life for the others. While Annie was a very brave girl, she took control of the bus until all passengers made it out, while she came out last, even though her life is at stake because the bus will explode soon.
Their characters were inversely proportional to the villain in this movie. Howard Payne was a former police officer who served as a bomb squad. He felt unappreciated because he was retired after he lost his thumb in a bomb explosion while on duty. He felt the pension provided to him was too small, while the watch bonus given to him was only a cheap watch. Interestingly, the problem of small pension and cheap watch was made a joke by Jack's friend at the beginning of the movie, even so, he still carried out his duty to save citizens in earnest.
This time my dream took place in my old house (the house I lived in until about 10 years old). Me and my friend had made promise to meet in this house. When my friend arrived, she’s trying to phone her husband. My friend told me that her and her husband often phoned each other when they weren’t together.
Then she asked how about I communicate with my husband. I told her that me and my husband used chatting app more because both of us were busy working. So, it’s easier for us to communicate using messages than phone calls.
If we had free time, we would spare some time to check our messages and reply to them. When we weren’t together, we would chat each other. We always had something to talk about, our messages in one day was very long (more than two meters). Hahaha. This answer was the end of my dream today.
